Helloooo, its my holiday nowww!!! I'm very excited about this holiday, because i made lots of plans on what i'm going to do! Last few days i went for 3 days 2 night chalet at NS resort and country club, i have to say it is the best and most beautiful chalet i have ever been to in singapore, haha! Its just beside changi airport runway, so its a 10 mins walk from my bungalow to the beach and u can sit there and watch the planes. Very romantic!I HIGHLY recommend guys to bring their gfs there! You can see the plane logo very clearly as they are landing, so near it'll give u thrills. Anyways i want to blog about EMERGENCY IN NIGER, sooo read on kind souls:)



Niger is the 2nd poorest country in the world, people live with only a few pennies a day, n the life expectancy at birth is only 45 years. Every year about 200,000 little children under 5 years old die!! Because all the supplies are used up! Everywhere ppl are creeping on their knees in the parching sun and grabbing with their bare hands in the dusty soil to find something to eat! Children are eating sand to stop their stomachs from aching!!! The death rate has exploded in such a way that more than one in every children dies before he or she turns 5 yrs old, while reading the news about this , it reminds me of myself, i did strave myself before, a period of time when i want to lose weight rapidly due to some reasons, and i force myself to drink only water for a few days, it was the worse thing i've ever experienced. I woke up the next morning feeling so weak and the next thing i knew i was drinking 2 litres of milk within secs! N REALLY WITHIN SECONDS!!! My family members were shocked! As much as i could say or write to u guys, i really want to help these children, and i hope you guys will help them too.

It is heartaching to see them living in a different environment as i am now, maybe some of u haven't seen children like this, but when i was young my parents always drove my whole family up to those remote villages in thailand to donate food and drinks. I remember vividly , every sch holiday we will buy cartons of food and drinks , clothes , blankets and fill up my whole family car! My siblings and i used to hate it because we have to squeeze into the car and the car ride is always 5 hrs to 6 hrs, and i always get car sick! But every time i get down the car and see the children running towards us i'll feel its all worth it. The tears in their parent's eyes, those children look and stare at us, i know they envy us and i feel like crying whenever we have to go. BECAUSE when my dad or mom is driving away from the place, children start crying and running after our car! Its effing sad and i always cry!! I dont know how to explain this feeling , and i remember there were once when we left one village, the children and their parents actually knee down and thank us, i was so touched that i couldnt hold my tears. I will definitely go back again someday.
